7/3: Dean Mora and His Orchestra, A Tribute to the Armed Forces

This Sunday night, I'll again join Dean Mora and His Orchestra and fellow vocalists Kayre Morrison and Jennifer Shelton, presenting WWII era tunes and big band hits of the 1940's, including: Irving Berlin's tunes "Any Bonds Today" and "This is the Army, Mr. Jones." We'll also present classic war-time songs such as "White Cliffs of Dover," "It's Been a Long, Long Time," and others.

Other special guests include The Lindy Sisters, former Bob Hope USO Entertainer Jan Daily and Star Trek's George Takei.

We'll be clad in original uniforms of the era, supplied by Steve Nelson, Curator of the Fort MacArthur Museum in San Pedro, CA.
